SHARPEN YOUR SKILLS.
PERFORM YOUR BEST.

Our main goal is to provide our players and teams an experience where they can develop and improve their skills in many aspects of baseball. And also understand the physical health management when it comes to preventing and maintaining injuries. Putting both baseball skills and health management practices together can give players and teams a drive to make better choices and perform better.

Hitting Lessons

Hitting a baseball is not easy, matter of fact it is probably the hardest thing in baseball. It is very important to learn, master and maintain the proper fundamentals of hitting to become a consistent and proficient hitter. Some of the fundamentals in hitting a baseball include:

Feet placement: key in keeping balance and a proper stance
Hands: being aware where your hands are before the hit, during the hit and the after hit is important in the power and drive that you generate when hitting.
Head: placing your chin shoulder to shoulder and keeping your head still through the hitting process is important to a ball properly and keeping you safe from injuries.

Pitching Lessons

Pitching is not just about throwing a ball to the home plate, but it has more to do the physics behind it. Pitching is just as physical as it is technical. The aspect of throwing a perfect pitch requires a few key components such as how the air is moved around the ball from the impact of speed and rate of spin, how the ball is gripped and the timing. Apart from the science, there are also different types of ways a ball can be pitched from fastballs to breaking balls. Below are a few examples of different pitching styles.

Fastballs: 4-seam, two-seam (sinker), two-seam (run), cut fastball
Breaking balls: curveball, slider, slurve and screwball.

Our facility will help teach players the proper technique, the ins and outs of pitching and the different styles of pitching. To schedule pitching lessons that fits your time, click on the link below and see what we have available. Can’t wait to see you there!!!

Velocity Training

Velocity Training is a type of training where the focus is on both strength and speed with giving importance to power. This type of training reduces the load when doing certain strength exercises and increasing the speed of the exercise. In pitching, velocity training focuses on all three strength, speed (the rate at which the ball is being thrown) and the amount of power that it exerted. Check out our schedule to see what times are good for you to join in one of our velocity training sessions.
